Attorney Experience:

Mr. Matheson has practiced law in Oklahoma since 1993, concentrating in the areas of property law, estate planning, wealth transfer tax planning, estate and trust administration, guardianship law, asset/creditor protection planning, adoption law, and the formation of tax exempt organizations. He has significant experience in estate planning and probate, and he has assisted numerous clients in preparing their estate plans, and in implementing family limited liability companies and charitable giving programs. Additionally, Mr. Matheson advises private foundations and public charities on issues of formation, management, planned giving, and governance. He is also experienced in representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service and the Oklahoma Tax Commission. Mr. Matheson is a regular presenter at continuing legal education seminars sponsored by the Oklahoma Bar Association, and a frequent speaker for public and private seminars and workshops throughout the state of Oklahoma.
